A tale of two chairs
A tale of two chairs
These two beauties captured my heart at first glance at the Alamo Square Flea Market.  As you can see in the picture, there were actually three, but two were plenty to bring home.  One of them is an old classroom chair.... the other one is just old.  The classroom chair one actually has the classroom number written on the bottom.  Neat, huh?  Quite a hassle to transport back home on the train.  They were $5 each, though.  Enough said. I'm pretty sure Mom and I looked like absolute fools dragging these suckers all over downtown SF and on the train ride home, but what's life if you can't laugh at yourself?

They are now sitting comfortably in my room currently housing my favorite childhood series... Series of Unfortunate Events anyone? but you can pretty much use them to put anything on, like plants or pillows or other random knick knacks.

And there you have it: a tale of two chairs

AND you can just prop them down and sit if you get tired! (While transporting them, I mean...)

They're so cute together!

@Mariana: YES! My mom joked that if it was really crowded on the train, we had our own seats and wouldn't have to stand ;)
