Maybe it's the inner prep in me (i am from connecticut, after all... hello new england), but I've got a thing for stripes. One of my favorite default outfits is to wear my fave navy blue striped shirt tucked into some high-waisted pants or a skirt (case in point: here). I've actually worn that shirt so much, it's starting to tear at the armpit, heh. I just got this dress from J. Crew, which I am very happy about. Slowly but surely, my closet is being invaded by stripes. Do you wear stripes too?

I'm such a sucker for stripes- I can't help it! I am immediately attracted to them whenever I see them and it takes a lot of effort to move away from them.
Since, I've dabbled into florals, polka dots and others to quench my stripes thirst :)

Ohmahgah the first picture is so pretty!! And I do try to incorporate more stripes in my outfits because they look so retro but at the same time still so sophisticated :)

I love stripes! Recently I went back to an old university of mine where I had an exhibition and a former lecturer recognised me right away even though I was facing the other way and he explained it was because I was wearing stripes - I must have made quite a stripy impression on him. Although looking at this post I am feeling a bit of stripe lack and I think I need to invest in new stripes. :)
Now when you mention it, I believe I dont have enough of striped clo0thing - a dress, two sweaters and three shirts. Def space for more! Who doesn't love preppy?
