I love this neighborhood oh-so-much and if you're in SF and want pizza and a pastry, this is the place to go. (the quintessential drinking out of a cup picture) dress: urban outfitters sweater: ann taylor scarf: urban outfitters sunglasses: ray ban
Umm... how cute are these?! I wish not every wall in my bedroom was filled so that I could do this. And who cares if these are for spring? I'd have them hanging up all year round. You can view the full tutorial here.
Lately I'm really loving neutral colored rooms. I think if I could redo my room, I would go for a really pale lavender or a creamy white. I used to think white was bland and boring, but now I see the beauty in simplicity. Or maybe I'm just becoming boring, who knows ;) (blousons) (l ina) (deborah mclean) (claudia smith)
Over the weekend, I spotted this little fashionista gallivanting about SF and I knew I had to take a picture or else I would be mad at myself for the rest of the day. She and her family were really sweet. And I wouldn't mind having an outfit like this in my size ;)
I don't think I could ever get tired of looking at weddings. I really don't. I stumbled upon a goldmine of wedding inspiration when I came across Brandon Kidd's photography.
My personal favorite shoot of his has to be Ben and Libby's wedding. Simple elegance, with a country flare.
We used to live really really close to a park (basically across the street). We don't anymore, but every once and a while, we take a ride down to the park and reminisce in our memories. Around this time of year, the grass is realllyy tall and Aubrey loves to frolic around. dress: vintage from blooming leopold (most favorite dress ever. end of story.) cardigan sweater: vintage tights: hue shoes: rachel comey sunglasses: ray ban purse: vintage There's a dog somewhere in the tall grass!

I'm a little late in jumping on the bandwagon, but I just started usingPinterest this past weekend. If you haven't heard of Pinterest, it's an online pinboard (hence the name pinterest) where you can create different moodboards to save all types of inspiration. Here's how it works... As an ardent moodboard maker, this is right up my alley. I've been searching for an easy way to bookmark my favorite images (mainly to serve as inspiration for my photography and this blog and whatnot), and this is just the right place.
Now onto the giveaway: Pinterest is currently still invite only, so Pinterest and I are teaming up to give away an invite code to one of you readers.
TO ENTER: Comment on this post telling me how you would use Pinterest. Would you use it purely for your everyday personal use, like me? Or would you use it for a specific project - perhaps as inspiration to help you decorate a room in your home, etc?
I will draw a winner next Monday, the 25th of April via random.org! The winner of this giveaway is Antonia of Artifacts of Written Exploration. I will be in contact with you, Antonia!
I've never really liked chai tea just by itself (a little too strong for my little taste buds), but a few weeks ago, a friend persuaded me to try a chai tea latte. It was love at first sight... err... taste bud from there. Now it gets quite pricey to be buying chai tea lattes here and there all the time, so I've been scheming of a way how I can make my own. Not quite entirely homemade, but the Trader Joe's powdered version of a chai tea latte comes pretty darn close to the real thing. In fact, I'm not sure I can really taste a difference. Ahhh heaven in a cup. Now... my next task is to try to make it from scratch! Have any of you guys done that?
