Can you believe as many times as I've blogged about bedrooms, homes, even tree houses, I've not once blogged about greenhouses? Back years ago, when we first moved to Connecticut (before we moved to california), my mom and I had a bit of a green thumb. We'd plant vegetables and make flower gardens and try to ward off the deer who would eat all our tulips. Our planting days always involved trips to the greenhouse to pick out our plants, flowers, veggies... whatever we would plant that day. These pictures remind me of those days. And I kinda miss those days. Maybe someday, I'll have a greenhouse of my own. Did you ever or do you have a green thumb?

These are really adorable pictures, i love the first one, it just looks so dreamy. My mom likes having a veggie garden and I hope some day I can have an awesome greenhouse for myself.

These photos are so dreamy! I do wish sometimes I had a green thumb but I 'm not easily tied down to a place I like to travel a lot and caring for plants means settling down in one place for a long time. Sometime I 'd like to try it though, for a couple of years maybe in Ireland or somewhere similar.

I've never really tried, but I'm hoping I've inherited my mum's green thumb. She can bring any plant to life.

Oh these are all so lovely! When I was little, when I would go to the greenhouse with my mom, I would look for all of the fallen blooms to pick up and take home! Those are my first memories of being in a greenhouse :)

Such a beautiful (and revitalizing) hobby... I've always dreamt of growing my own vegetables but so far I only manage to kill my indoor plants =(

I had quite a green thumb for most of last year, I managed to completely transform the courtyard we have.
