Yesterday was my last day of summer pre-college classes at Academy of Art University. Since we didn't have much to do, my graphic design teacher let us loose an hour early. I met up with my aunt for lunch at Cafe Madeleine. It was my first time there (even though it's right across the street from my school, ha) and I swear, that place makes you feel like you're in some European city.
Somehow my aunt managed to get her hands on Lula Magazine (i've been searching for months with no such luck) and she got a copy for me! She knows me too well :)
Happy happy weekend, to one and to all!

What a stunning dress! Why are you so smart? Smile. You are an artist and an artist appreciates her surroundings. I hope you'll tell us all about your new "ah ha" moments as you begin your college adventure. You will have to visit that lucious coffee shop on a regular basis for "artist dates" that tend to your creative soul. Guess what? I ordered the Anthropoligie loafers in blue. I can't wait for them to come. They are my new school shoes. I'm a teacher of sixth graders and a granny of preschoolers. I love to see young people strike out and love beauty. Your blog is very artistic and real.
Oh it looks like a lovely place to have a nice tea! =) I love to discover new coffee shops!
Beautiful outfit!
Well, it looks like a nice little place, but it is definitely NOT European style - in Europe you wouldn't drink out of paper cups (unless you are attending a children's birthday party), for you get a decent cup made of a ceramic material. I don't see the point in using paper cups and the beverage even tastes differently...
Nice post! Nice pics!
Wonderful!
