This weekend was very good to me. I reconnected with a dear old teacher friend from Connecticut back when my family and I lived there a few years ago, before coming here to San Francisco. And it made me kind of homesick to be honest. I mean, I love it here. But I want to go back to visit so badly.
Anyway, Saturday was a thrift day for my mom and me. We went to College Avenue in Rockridge, a little neighborhood east of San Francisco. I love this neighborhood to death.

At Crossroads Trading Co. This store is all sorts of wonderful.

I know how that is, having lived in several different places. You love all of them for different reasons and I always long for somewhere else, no matter how much I love where I am.

Ahhh, you made me homesick for the Bay Area (my home for the past 5 years until I moved out to Boston in December). It's so much prettier out there, and the thrifting is way better.
@Rachel: Ha, we're both homesick for opposite coasts.
