Simplicity is key

Monday, April 25, 2011
Lately I'm really loving neutral colored rooms. I think if I could redo my room, I would go for a really pale lavender or a creamy white. I used to think white was bland and boring, but now I see the beauty in simplicity. Or maybe I'm just becoming boring, who knows ;)

I've always loved all white bedrooms (and all white kitchens! my fave!)....i think we're going to re-do our apartment in shades of creamy neutral. i don't think it's boring, i think it's simple and fresh! you should re-do your room, spring is a great time for a change!

while I love the look of white walls as pictured here, white (and super pale colours) do not look good in my home. I think a lot of how it turns out depends on lighting.

neutral walls are absolutely the best - anything is possible with them. i wish i could paint my room in my apartment but sadly i am not allowed.

i love the third room! i really want to add a chandelier to my room but my ceiling isn't high enough for that. i love the simplicity of these rooms and i wish i had that, but unfortunately my room is a bit cluttered with a crapload of stuff!

Neutral rooms are classic and the best in my opinion. So go ahead with it if you need. :)

Ohhh I love photographs of bedrooms! I agree, I wish my room was totally white, it's like having a lovely blank canvas. x

I used to think that too, but now I've seen rooms that are properly decorated I probably think the opposite!
