As an ardent moodboard maker, this is right up my alley. I've been searching for an easy way to bookmark my favorite images (mainly to serve as inspiration for my photography and this blog and whatnot), and this is just the right place.

This is wonderful, I would use it for not only a digital vison board, but as you as a board of inspiration. Listing all sorts of different shots that I would like to emulate. Thanks so much for sharing this.
oh, i'd love to have an invite! i would use pinterest to collect crafting ideas. often i see pictures of things i'd like to create but have no time at the moment. then there are days when i'd like to do something pretty but have no ideas, so looking up crafty stuff on pinterest would be a great inspiration!
I use Pinterest, and I l-o-v-e it. It has completely revolutionized how I cook, bake, craft, shop, etc. I'm going to start following your boards asap. :)
I go a little pin-crazy every morning with a cup of coffee by my side. It helps me wake up and gets my creativity going.

I would use Pinterest as inspiration for my writing and short stories. I'm always looking to people's photos and flickr, as well as people's dreamy lookbooks. This way, I can go to one place :D
How funny, you know, I just found about about this before reading this post. Seems like a good idea, and hopefully I should get some new inspiration for things to write about just by looking at some images. Experiencing writers/artists block *heavily* at the moment. Thanks for reminding me!
you know, i always hear bloggers talking about it but i never bothered to discover what it is! now i know. i thought it was something to do with printing (i always read it 'printerest'. oops.
i currently use evernote to track all my favorite things and images but it's a mess. pinterest would help!

Pinterest is one of my favorite websites ever! I feel lucky to have gotten an invite.
However, can't you give out multiple invites from your account? I've given them to most of my friends.

Oh WOW! This sounds amazing. The first thing I thought was - this would totally de-clutter my desktop! I would use it to source and organize inspiration for the jewelry I make, for fashion ideas, for photographic inspiration and of course images for my blog! I would love to see your moodboards! This is such an amazing website! I have never heard of it before, but now I am surprised that I have never seen it mentioned. It seems like such a fundamental concept!
I would use mine for everyday, personal use as inspiration for both fashion and photography. (Especially film photography!)

I love this site. I have recently seen it used by many bloggers. I have a lifestyle blog (www.acollectionofpassions.blogspot.com) as well as a photography business (www.photographyinthemoment.com) and I am constantly looking for ways to archive my many, many inspiration photos. Pinterest has definitely sparked my interest. Ever since I found out it existed I wanted to try it.
It seems like such a great way to keep track of inspiration as well as find lots of new inspiring things by following others.

Love Pinterest! I use it for photography inspiration. If I see a pic that I adore, I pin it. I also use it for travel inspiration. Not that I'm going on a trip anytime soon. Pinterest is great because it keeps you from saving to your pictures and keeps your computer clean... well, at least from pictures that aren't your own. :)

Ahhh such a great idea!! Much more organized than my source-less folder of saved images. I'd definitely use it for a combination of art references and fashion inspiration! I love collecting images that represent the lifestyle I'd like to have, complete with setting, outfits, and little details.

Ooh I had never heard of it until just now! But it looks like a wonderful website.
I would definitely use it for a ton of things - inspiration for sewing, my blog, my photos, my writing, and my room that I'm going to redecorate this year! That way I could organize my thoughts and ideas by theme.

I've been collecting pictures for a long time,mostly as an inspiration for my future home and garden, i also look for beautiful designs and clothes that i would like to sew someday. Sometimes i get inspired to take my own photographs or make a new hairstyle - this "picture hunting" teaches to see every little detail that can generate new ideas.
Pinterest would be a great way to arrange all these pictures because when they are just saved somewhere in my computer it is easy to get lost sometimes :)
Oh I requested an invite a year ago and again many months ago and I guess my email address is not pinteresting enough to solicit mercy from them :| Meanwhile I found weheartit.com which somewhat works but has a lousy search system. So I'm hoping to get lucky now.
Pinterest would be helpful and practical for my blogging and wonderful for my enjoyment as I love watching and creating collages and beautiful combinations.
PS. A pic is worth a thousand words right. Here's my chaotic desktop -- right after I cleaned and organized it. Imagine what my actual folders look like. So I really could use an online pinboard. And would use it on a daily basis.
Isn't this contest kind of silly? I only say that because I'm pretty sure you can give unlimited invites to people. It's kind of sad that there are all these people who really want to be members...who you COULD give invites, yet you're only giving out one.
