This is where I'll live
When I was little, I really really wanted my dad to build me a treehouse in our backyard. Unfortunately, you need the right kind of tree to build a treehouse, and we did not have that kind of tree. So my dreams of a treehouse were short lived :(
This is where I'll live
A few days ago, a friend told me she had a dream where I lived in a fancy tree house. And that made me very very happy :)

I remember watching Now & Then and thinking all those girls were so lucky. I still wish I had a treehouse!

Ohhh these are fantastic! I want to go! In Madison Square Park, in New York City, they had a treehouse exhibition a few years ago. They generally have some sort of temporary art installation on display there, and since I used to go to school a few blocks away, I'd sit in the park at lunch and enjoy whatever it happened to be. The treehouses were my absolute favourite. You couldn't actually climb in them or anything, but it was neat to see the little wooden structures nestled against the towering Manhattan skyline.

ah, looks like something from Peter pan! But when you see how cozy the interior is you know its more than a play house. Beautiful and inspirational, thanks for sharing

Oh my gosh! I love the pictures! It was always a dream of mine to have a tree house as well, but that never worked out for us with all our families moving and such. These photos re-inspired me! As of now, I've moved from tree houses to a giant Country House, the ones here are rather lovely! Perhaps I'll just build a huge tree house on the giant plot of land, yes? :)
