I love sending letters through the post! Another thing you could do is join Postcrossing?
You send a postcard to someone else in the world, then you receive one from somewhere else.
It's an amazing feeling, getting a little piece of someone else's culture. They really are things to treasure!

i adore snail mail in almost any form but e-mails are definitely more convenient. still, it's lovely to receive a package every once in a while (which is probably why I shop online so much!)

Snail mail is definitely slower, but it's more romantic... the idea that someone took the time to write it, get an envelope, write the address out, the stamp, and then send it on it's way...
my boy friend and I write letters to each other. I like it a lot better than facebook-ing. :3
