Now if I could only get a pretty model to photograph at the lake...

If anyone has an inkling of an idea of how this was executed, let me know ;)

Until next time, friends :)

i hate to say it but that bed had to have been photoshopped in...it just doesn't make sense otherwise right?
ps: i am heading up to a lake this weekend, i loooove the lake!
doesn't need to be photoshopped. and if so it's still a lovely picture :) thanks for sharing!
Boris
That must've been a very shallow lake for that bed to be placed right in the middle. I like it.
I want to be sleeping on that bed surrounded by water right away!!!
ooooh have fun! we shall be expecting photos? :)
@the notebook doodles: I'm bringing both my digital camera and film camera, so if the photos come out good I'll share them :)
But I don't know any models in Lake Tahoe, so all the pictures will just be landscapes and such.
I am going to Lake Tahoe tomorrow :) I love it there. And maybe the bed was built with extra long legs? Or is sitting on some sort of submerged object....
Oooh, have fun, take pics & relax! (:
that third picture is so fantasyish and dreamy. its gorgeous, i would love to be there right now!
have fun at the lake :D
LOvely photos, thakns for posting :)
i LOVE tahoe! it's so pretty. i stayed in a gorgeous house overlooking the lake this past december/january for new year's... and oh my. it was gorgeous! it was cold and snowy and perfect. :) i can't wait to go back! i've always wanted to go in the summertime. have so much fun!
Lucky you! I'm confused about the bed picture too, but it's pretty :D
a vacay at the lake sounds lovely. i hope you have a fun and relaxing time with your family...send us a postcard!
I love lake photos.
Jealous! Have fun :)
Beautiful photos.
I've been catching up on a bunch of posts all at once...you have SUCH an excellent eye for PRETTY! Thank you :)
If you're going with your family, maybe you have someone in your family who can model? :) We do this all the time with my 2 younger sisters (other one is a photographer, other painter). So much fun. Just throw some cool clothes on your mom (I don't know, maybe she's wearing them already) and make some innovative pretty history! Anyhow, have a rejuvenating time!
Even better, model yourself?! I love landscape photos and take plenty of them myself, but models add a lot to any picture..
@Bhakti Omwoods: Unfortunately, I am an only child. I've always wanted a beautiful older or younger sibling to photograph though.
I might try to take some self portraits... who knows.
But thanks for the suggestions :)
i love your pictures!they are so beautiful<3
have a wonderful time!
and about the bed on the lake photo, mmm.. maybe it is a very shallow part, maybe the bed has longer legs or maybe it was put over some sort of platform and then pushed inside the lake.. and maybe all of the above, who knows!
xx
Will miss you, but hope you have fun!

That first photo is so beautiful!
absolutely adorable!!!
Ohhh have an amazing time!
I'm a bit late but I hope you will have fun! Hope you can take beautiful pictures like the gorgeous ones above! x
These pictures are incredible, I have no idea how the bed one could possibly be done, but that makes it even more amazing.
Have a lovely time, it sounds like the perfect getaway :)
Do you have an online photography portfolio/ gallery?
@Stargazer_Lilly: At this moment, I do not. I have a flickr (which you can see the link in the sidebar), but am looking into making a website soon.
just got to love them! especially the second one!
The bed is easy. :) Wooden platforms for swimmers are pretty common, anchored like buoys, they stay stationary but they still float. Run a boat up to one, drop off the bed and linens and set it up. As long as it was light enough/the platform was buoyant enough, there wouldn't have been an issue. (In a real life situation, it probably would have been necessary to inflate some bladders under the platform to support a regular mattress, but it's totally doable :)) A friend and I spent a couple of nights on one once - we just set up a tent on it and rowed in and out :)
