The shoot didn't last long because it was so cold, but it was nice getting to know the model, who is super sweet. I shot both b&w film and digital, so I'm going to develop the film today-I hope it came out good! For now, here are some digital shots:

P.S. I'm taking off tomorrow to enjoy the long weekend we have here in the US. See you all here on Monday :)

@oh, hello friend.: thank you! And yes, you will see me there :)
Yes, the warm backlighting is beautiful!
great photos - you obviously just have a natural eye for a great shot which is worth more than any props, make-up artist or lighting specialist!
@Tonia: Aw, thank you! I think the lighting is more important than anything else!

coulda fooled me! looks god!
these are beautiful... can you use photoshop? because I just quickly played with the levels and curve on the bottom shot so I could see a little more detail in the face and it looks amazing.
@dear colleen: Thanks! These are all straight out of camera, well, except for me boosting the contrast. I got home late last night and was too tired to play around with the photos in photoshop. Please email me the image you edited so I can look?
They came out really well! She's pretty too.

Hi! I remember your post about your trip to India, so I thought you'd love what I am doing.
I am moving to India this year to volunteer! I'm so so so excited about it and am going to be working in rural areas trying to provide basic services that we all take so much for granted. It is going to be an amazing trip and I'm fundraising for it right now!
If you spread the word you get a MOOD RING!
Pretty sweet eh? :)
