Hair worth swooning over

Thursday, July 29, 2010
My hair needs some sort of intervention. Divine intervention would be nice. I wanted to grow it long, but now that it's long I'm still not satisfied. Part of me wants to chop it all off, part of me wants to grow out my bangs, and then part of me wants to just keep it the same. Same old hair dilemmas, right?

So here's some hair worth swooning over:

i want mine to grow long too, but it takes so much time! apparently on average hair grows an inch in three months, and i have been growing out since i had a bob a year back.
i have had bangs forever now, but i think i love them too much to ever grow them out.
i want the hair color in the last pic.
too much ranting. k bye.

i am also in your same boat, lady. i am growing my hair out long but not sure if it is the right look, i have bangs but love them so they aren't going anywhere anytime soon but i always get the urge to cut my hair...the reason for growing it out is so that i basically do the first picture braid...and the milk maid hair style too...almost there..i just hope i don't get scissor happy and chop it off before i can even do those styles i have been dying to do...patience is a virtue i guess :)

I think you should cut it all off. My hair is the longest it's been in six years, and I'm already thinking about chopping it off.

What a beautiful pictures. I especially love the one where the girl's hair 'sticks' in the tree...

I have long hair too, and often wear a french braid. I've made the dicision to cut it all off twice, but it wasn't a good idea. I'm a long hair girl, apparently. :-)

Have a great day!

xoxo

Oof, I know how you feel: mine is growing out (of what and to what I don't know) and we've fallen out with each other. It's hairclips at dawn!

Oh snap! I am growing my hair (have been for years - it grows slowly!) and I got bangs, but now I want them gone. I have layers around my face but they don't do the whispy whimsical look that I was after. I'm fighting random urges to chop it all off! I can't - it's taken too long to grow. Plus there are grey hairs there now!! Eek!

the second picture is probably by Elif Sanem Karakoc. at least, she's the girl in the picture. here is her photostream:

it might also be by a friend of hers:

or by her boyfriend:

I can't decide what I want to do with my hair either! Grow out my bangs or trim them?
