Hopelessly Romantic

In addition to meeting up with Andrea on Sunday, the rest of my weekend was spent swooning over The Vintage Wedding Dress Company. I'm not planning on getting married anytime soon, but hey, a girl can dream!

The dresses are beautiful and the details are so intricate. So effortlessly classic.

I loooove this girl's curly hair:

I bought a dress for $5 from a thrift store that sort of looked like these. I had no intentions on wearing it, but for $5, how could I resist? I've been planning on using it in a future photo shoot, so maybe it'll still be put to good use!

Thank you, Mrs. French, for acquainting me with these dreamy dresses! We get along quite well :)

P.S. I've been featured on the Bright Side Project today! I'm sharing what's currently on my wish list and a little giveaway is included so stop on by and say hello :)

oh my!! Confession. I've been married 14 years and I still buy bride books. The dress designs are give me such inspiration - it is art and fashion at its best. I love these dresses!!!!

I would buy one of these dresses to wear anyway. Doesn't have to be to my wedding why not to dinner? Is that too wierd?

Those are stunning dresses! Don't feel bad about dreaming, we all do it & it's so much fun (:

Oh and I often do the same thing when thrifting, buying clothes just for photoshoots.

on my wishlist is a digital camera with the imperfect quality of film. is there such a thing? i love the look of light leaks, dust scratches, and noise. i must find such a thing.

I love the hat with the veil! Wish I had gone in a more vintage direction with my wedding, but it was before I really got into all this stuff. :)

beautiful dresses! i guess my wedding dress is now, technically, "vintage," but really it's just...outdated :-) I keep thinking about doing a "trash the dress" photo shoot in it, but haven't. yet.

but if I ever got married AGAIN (sigh), for the THIRD (gah!) time, I would love a non-bridey dress like one of these...
