After reading Half Broke Horses (which is a memoir written by jeannette walls about her grandmother's life growing up on a ranch) I've been quite intrigued by the prairie/farm lifestyle. I really love this look. In fact, I've actually had these pictures saved on my computer for quite some time without knowing the sources. And yesterday, I figured out where the pictures were from which made me very very happy. (sidenote: don't cha love that when you look forever to find the source of a pretty picture/drawing/whatnot and then you finally find it? i tell ya it's the greatest feeling).
Doesn't it look so Free People-y? Or maybe it's just me. At first, I thought this was from a Free People catalog, but no, it's by a photographer named Erica who photographed her two best friends, Alison and Rebekkah. Aren't they the cutest?

@Diana: Ah, I think I need a Slower Readers Book Club. I started reading Half Broke Horses before you guys and I finished after you! But yes, I'll definitely keep it in mind.
Its my dream lifestyle! i adore horses to and these pictures have just made me want that lifestyle more :)

@Marthe: yes, I recommend it! i don't think it was as good as the glass castle-that's one of my favorite books of all time, but it was really interesting. i love memoirs and taking a peak into other peoples' lives!
