This dress is so delightful and dreamy and gah, I love it! Here's a closer look:

Isn't she a beauty?
Okay, so I know I've blogged this picture before, but it is so lovely, it deserves a second go-around!

I am totally going to do this in my own room! Maybe to fill up the empty space of my incomplete wall collage. And I can change around the dresses I display every so often to freshen up the look without actually having to do much work a;lskjdflaksjasf perfect!!!
I saw this darling little girl's (or maybe it was a doll's...?) lace dress at a thrift store (but one of those, you know, high-end thrift stores so you actually don't end up saving that much money) which was far more money than I'd ever spend at a thrift store, but I think I might cave in and buy it. Or else try my bargaining skills. And maybe, since little girl's dresses are small and don't take up a lot of room, I could start a little girl's dress collage on my wall à la this room (except with more vintage-y, lace-y, sheer things). I'll just have to experiment and see what looks best. What do you have hanging on your walls?

What a cute idea!!! I have a dress that I love love but it's too small for me so I could totally hang it up on the wall!! Maybe remove some of my band posters! =)

I hang everything on my bedroom walls! Recently I painted them cream which makes them such a nice canvas. I have dresses, shirts, bags, pictures & necklaces hanging on my walls (not everything at the same time though 'cause it could get a bit much).
I think I'll do a post one day with pictures of my room (:
love the photos. never thought of doing this before. wht a great idea
hey, chickadee!
you know i'm thinking of doing something rather similar in my own bedroom redecorating (thanks to the first time you posted the creamy dress) and i have a dress i scored for around five buckaroos that i think will do the trick quite nicely.
thanks ever so much-ly again for the ongoing inspiration ...

Love this idea!
PS. love your blog too :)
I was just commenting that I think pretty vintage dresses hanging on walls are gorgeous decorations. I have a wall collage in my dining room, prints and photos in my bedroom, though I can definitely see something like this in my future . . .
Beautiful! I absolutely adore these.
this look is so sweet and it's a great idea to fill up some space and pull out that pretty dress you wish you wore a little more. i like it.
I don't do this with dresses - but I have a couple of pairs of shoes out on display (:

I love this idea and how the dress styles are so vintage - like from Mad Men era! : )
Such pretty dresses!! Dress collages sounds soo cool and such an awesome idea! And the dress at the thrift stores sounds awesome. That happens to me all the time. he he. I see something I really like at a thrift store but it's so expensive like a really cute dress or purse, but then it's stuck in my head, and i have to get it! lol. :)
Thank you so very much for the lovely comments! I must tell you: I absolutely adore your blog and find it to be a great inspiration. Your work, along with the people's who you feature, are so marvelous. So thank you for fueling my creative thirst.
What a pretty idea!
I have fairy lights dripping from my walls, I love the shadows they cast and they give the feeling that one is in a mystical land.
Be sure to post pictures when you start your dress collage!

Gorgeous! I love those dresses...
Cute idea! Though my parents would probably hate me for putting holes in the wall, haha
Wow this is delightful! Beautiful pictures aswell!
That is a great idea. I have a sheer lemon school-girl style blouse hanging in the entrance hall, I didn't think much of it, but my boyfriend thinks its really sweet. Other than that it's mainly his paintings!
LOVELOVE this!
