I have a growing obsession with photos of peoples' backs, photos of people looking down, photos of anything BUT the person looking straight into the camera. It makes you wonder what they are looking at.

Well I'm off to go ziplining, then to an art exhibition, and then to my favorite Chinese restaurant! Which am I most excited for? Eating at the Chinese restaurant, of course :)

I hope you have an absolutely lovely Saturday, wherever you are!

Beautiful photos! I can understand the interest in photos where people aren't looking at the camera, there's something mysterious and intriguing about them.

there is certainly a shy charm about photos without eye contact. I like them as well.

How was ziplining??

The snow in the last photo is really pretty. How is your photo shop doing?! I LOVE the picture of the little girls holding the basket full of apples! I think it is really cool that you chose to open a shop on your blog instead of on Etsy! Great idea!

I agree. To me it seems like the occupant of the photo has some sort of secret and if they look at the camera then the whole world will see it in their eyes.

Yes, I completely understand what you mean. I like the exact same thing. It makes the pics more mysterious and in some way less 'commercial'.
