Golden light, I love you
Kelcie
Golden light, I love you
I had a photo shoot with friend Kelcie (who can also be seen here) on Monday, so here are some of the shots! I have lots more, but I'll save the rest for another day :)

I was so nervous about the weather the day of the shoot because it was raining! But by the afternoon, it had cleared up a bit. It seemed the weather was in our favor because the sun was out during the entire shoot, but as soon as we finished up, it started raining again! I'm just so happy it all worked out.

I think my favorite is the first one. I like how the rainbow light showed up near her neck-totally not planned! What's yours?

Golden light, I love you (& also bokeh too!)

Enjoy your weekend, loves :)

P.S. Anna of Much Love featured my photography today! Check it out here. (it's those pictures I took of the little girls). It's pretty exciting as this is my first photography feature!

I like the way the sun is bouncing off the rain-soaked leaves: everything seems more alive and sparkly!

The first one is my favorite too. I love when the light does little unexpected things like that.

And I'm so happy you've been taking so many photos lately. I absolutely love what you do!

I love everything about this set of pictures - the girl is stunning, of course, but you seem to have captured an inner beauty as well which shines through the images and makes them even more beautiful. I also really like her top, so pretty!

These are gorgeous! I agree, that stripe of rainbow across the middle is perfect.

@Kelly: I shoot at f/5.6 all the time. This creates the nice bokeh and out of focus background.

nicely done, you're getting better and better at this! not sure if asked before, what camera are you using? and did you edit this in photoshop again? great work!

@See Hear Say: Thanks! Yes, I do feel that I'm getting more and more comfortable with the camera with every photo shoot. I'm using a Sony Alpha 200 DSLR. I have photoshop CS4 & I do use it to edit, but not that much. I just boost up the contrast a little & enhance the colors. Nothing drastic, really.
