P.S. Thanks for all the hair suggestions yesterday. Not one person said to cut my hair shorter :) I do think I'll be happier with longer hair. So much more versatile.

@fawn: I love Sally Mann's work too! I was first introduced to her work in my photo class last summer and I fell in love :)
I still haven't found my passion for b&w. I don't know why..
These are gorgeous though, but they don't light the same spark in me that color photograpy does!
I wish I appreciated b&w more, because I would love to shoot more b&w and develop them myself in a darkroom! It all takes practice, I guess.

love these snaps. I love short hair. My girls have pixie cuts and get sooo many compliments. if you have the face you should go for it. always nice to look french and adorable.

Sally Mann is my favorite photographer EVER. In fact I recently posted that same picture (It's her daughter Jessie, and I think it's titled Candy Cigarette) on my blog. When I was in college (studying Creative Writing), my thesis was a collection of poems inspired by Sally Mann photographs. LOVE!
I love black and white photography! Great examples to show here. The black & white seem to bring out the moodiness in the images.

Sally Mann was a huge influence on me becoming a photographer. I could stare at her work for hours.
