surrealism.

"Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see them, and try to follow where they lead."
~Louisa May Alcott
"I've dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas, they've gone through me, like wine through water, and altered the color of my mind."
~Emily Bronte
"It's the possibility that keeps me going...and though you may call me a dreamer or fool or any other thing, I believe that anything is possible."
~The Notebook
"The happiness of life is made up of minute fractions-the little soon-forgotten charities of a kiss, a smile, a kind look, a heartfelt compliment in the disguise of a playful raillery, and the countless other infinitessimals of pleasurable thought and genial feeling."
~Samuel Taylor Coleridge
"All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible."
~T.E. Lawrence
"The great blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach; but we shut our eyes and like people in the dark, we fall foul upon the very thing we search for, without finding it."
~Seneca
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall."
~Confucius
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."
~Helen Keller
"The best kind of love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds."
~The Notebook
"Without faith, without belief in something, what are we?"
~King Arthur
"That thing, that moment, when you kiss someone and everything around becomes hazy and the only thing in focus is you and this person and you realize that, that person is the only person that you're supposed to kiss for the rest of your life, and for one moment you get this amazing gift and you want to laugh and you want to cry because you feel so lucky to have found it, and so scared that it will go away, all at the same time."
~Drew Barrymore
"I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there."
~The Perks of Being a Wallflower
"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
"Sweet are the uses of adversity, which, like a toad, though ugly and venomous, wears yet a precious jewel in its head."
~William Shakespeare
"To know even on life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
"As I grow to understand life less and less, I learn to love it more and more."
~Jules Renard
"Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of."
~Benjamin Franklin

Sorry for my lack of posting. I've been extremely busy and will probably be until two weeks from now, so until then, the posts will become more sparse and spaced out.

EDIT: Please keep clicking on the ugly Google ads, my darlings, even though I know they're annoying. I'm hoping if I can make a good amount of money, this could balance out my excessive spending, but I can't without your lovely help!

Though I particularly love this one: "All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible."
