A charm invests a face
Imperfectly beheld.
The lady dare not lift her veil
For fear it be dispelled.
But peers beyond her mesh,
And wishes and denies,
'Lest interview annul a want
That image satisfies.

A Charm Invests a Face by Emily Dickinson
Photos from here and here.

Sorry for the short-ish post. I've been crazily busy away at a pile of work I have to get done in the next week or so, so as I said before, don't expect a lot of post-age.

I'm currently in a love affair with this trailer for Revolutionary Road. I haven't seen the movie, although it looks so lovely and well done. It's the first time Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are in a movie together since Titanic, so it sounds pretty epic. Anyone seen it yet? Loved it? Hated it? Thought it was okay? Post your opinions in a comment. I'd love to hear your viewpoints on the movie.

Also, there has been quite a bit of confusion of what exactly the Google ads are. They are in a gray-ish box located on the side bar somewhere amongst the plethora of pictures. They're not too hard to find...I think...Again, if you have problems, just leave a comment and I will try to direct you further.

Hmmm...I think that wraps it up for today!

hello dear :)
thanks for your comment! lets see...well, the quote i posted is from one of my favorite books; everything is illuminated. as i read books i fold down pages that i want to remember- that is how i came to find that particular quote! as for the other quotes I post on my blog, there are a lot of websites out there with inspirational quotes; so if i am ever running low on ideas, i go to one of those. these websites are really great, but it takes a long time to dig around and find ones that i want to use. i also love to watch beautiful movies that have meaning, so that is honestly how i find most of my quotes that i post! As for the pictures, I spend a lot of time on flickr looking through photos to find pretty ones and ones that have feeling. usually it takes me quite a while to put together a post, becuase i have to find all of these things "from scratch" i guess you could say. but don't be discouraged you will be able to find things to use eventually! just think of great books you have read and wonderful movies you have seen; things that have inspired you in your own life and likely to inspire others as well (that is honestly what I think of when I am making a post!) I hope i answered your question well! much love, xoxo.
