Isn't it hard to believe that 2009 is now upon us? What are YOUR new year's resolutions? Post them in a comment and I'm sure I'll have lots of fun reading them. Now you're probably wondering what my resolutions are. I don't mean this to sound as if I don't have any spirit, but I don't believe in resolutions. I hope that doesn't make me sound totally self-absorbed.

my new year's resolutions are:
1. stop being paranoid
2. stop living inside my own head
Haha. And then I just wondered, where is the fifth picture from?

This is beautiful.
A thousand sorries for mispelling your name, people often do it with my surname and it annoys me no end. So please forgive me, i should have checked. And the way your name is spelled is prettier than with a K.
Sorry sorry sorry.
And i tagged you, but i told you on the last post.

Mine is to stop fall in love with the wrong people. (Good luck to me).
I think it's great that you can't find anything you want to change about yourself. It's not to be self-absorbed to love yourself.

Your blog is amazing! I LOVE it..

but just so you know, the quote that you have referenced anonymous is incorrect.

The one that says, "what lingered after them was not life, but the most trivial list of mundane facts..."

that quote was said by the narrator in the Virgin Suicides...

:)

i think my resolutions are vaguely:make something/do something creative everyday and be open to suggestions which will hopefully make me have more adventures

My first and most important new-years-resolution is to work out a fabulous amélie-like-plan to tell someone how much i want to get to know him better. And to show how this little world inside of my head works & how it can work together with reality. And then REALLY follow this plan and MAKE it work together with reality. : D

I thaught maybe i could stop smoking too, but i know i never will.

by the way, your blog is awesome. The pictures you chose are always cute & dreamy & especially in this post the quotes are awesome and so true, too.
keep it on! :)

I love the photographs you've chosen. And I'm a bit of a nerd, because I recognize the first quote. Its actually from "The Virgin Suicides", by Jeffrey Eugenides. It is from the end of the novel...very poignant.
