"At the end of the day faith is a funny thing. It turns up when you don't really expect it. It's like one day you realize that the fairy tale may be slightly different than you dreamed. The castle, well, it may not be a castle. And it's not so important happy ever after, just that its happy right now. See once in a while, once in a blue moon, people will surprise you, and once in a while people may even take your breath away."

"At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That's how we're made. So, you can waste your lives drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them. But there are some lines that are way too dangerous to cross."

"You know how when you were a little kid and you believed in fairy tales, that fantasy of what your life would be, white dress, prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill. You would lie in bed at night and close your eyes and you had complete and utter faith. Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Prince Charming, they were so close you could taste them, but eventually you grow up, one day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears. Most people turn to the things and people they can trust. But the thing is its hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely cause almost everyone has the smallest bit of hope, of faith, that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true."

"Maybe we're not supposed to be happy. Maybe gratitude has nothing to do with joy. Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is. Appreciating small victories. Admiring the struggle it takes simply to be human. Maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we know. And maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know. At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate."

"The fantasy is simple. Pleasure is good. And twice as much pleasure is better. That pain is bad. And no pain is better. But the reality is different. The reality is that pain is there to tell us something. And there is only so much pleasure we can take without getting a stomachache. And maybe that's okay. Maybe some fantasies are only supposed to live in our dreams."

I can't believe all of those quotes are from Grey's Anatomy. They're beautiful.
It's refreshing to hear classical music on a blog.
I love the images you've chosen. The winter scene with the girl holding an umbrella is an old favorite of mine. They capture the feeling of the quotes.
Hi, check out my blog, I just gv u an award. Thank you for inspiring me and sharing the beautiful things :)

You're hitting them out of the ball park, loving these posts (and photos!)--
Celebs have a way of influencing in one way or another, and I can be caught starstruck. I once rung up Candace Cameron when I WORKED at barneys New York here (Miami) she was DJ Tanner on Full House. So so sweet, I had to keep my composure though I didn't want to seem like a silly fan. But, before she left, she asked me for a hug and said the twinkle in my eye gave away that I was a fan. AWW! :)

The 4th and 2nd to last pictures are dreamlike. I love your posts.
fabulous photos!
Oh! I loved this! Two years ago I was an exchange student in a Tennessee university and I remember watching Grey's Anatomy with my roommates and thinking that they really put some effort into the dialogues, especially when we hear the voice of a character at the beginning or end of the episode and it is a bit philosophical. So, I was so glad you made me remember those times. And as always, very good choice of pictures, I love the two with the umbrellas. Thank you for being inspirational (and adorable!)
Your blog is exquisite...and I simply adore the music..

WHAT AMAZING PICTURES!
I just have to say that your earlier posts are taken straight from one of my favourite blogs, Una Bella Vita:A Beautiful Life. I cannot believe that no one has caught this until now.
I was one of your regular readers, but honestly, you have lost me forever. I can't believe you stole all of this photography and quotes straight from another girl. You no longer inspire me. You should try to find your own voice instead of shamelessly copying someone else. Or at least you could have given credit where it was due.
@Anonymous: I am terribly sorry to upset you. I do admit that much of my earlier inspiration was taken from that blog. And I am ashamed of that. I am ashamed I had to reach into someone else's posts to find my own inspiration. Those were my early blogging days and I actually considered deleting these posts, but I decided not to because they are a part of me, even if I am not exactly proud of it. They helped me to get onto my blogging feet. I have credited Una Bella Vita as the inspiration for this post, although, seeing her comment this post, she does not seem to be mad at me. If you cannot forgive me and realize that I am only human and would never do this type of thing again, well, so long, my reader.
